Electrical Technician – Oil & Gas

About the role

Electrical Technician needed to perform maintenance, modifications and installation of electrical machinery across offshore facilities in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, modifications, and installation of various electrical machinery and equipment across all offshore facilities.
• Assist in organizing and preparing tools and materials required for maintenance activities.
• Ensure correct use of safety equipment and PPEs and follow PTW system procedures.
• Attend to breakdowns, perform corrective actions and reduce downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance at plant, camp and communication facilities according to schedules.
• Prepare daily work schedules and implement work orders after supervisor approval.

Required profile

• ITI or Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of the PTW system and occupational health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Proficient English communication and computer application skills.
