Electrician – Commercial Electrical Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al‑Khaimah. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial electrical systems while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all electrical systems, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and new installations.
• Install wiring, devices, and temporary power for events, adhering to OSHA, NEC, and UAE electrical codes.
• Conduct safety checks, read engineering drawings, and operate in‑house lighting control systems.
• Maintain inventory of parts, keep work areas organized, and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Journeyman electrician certification or equivalent with at least five years of commercial experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to work at heights.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and local UAE electrical regulations.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy materials and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
