Electrician - Facility Management

About the role

Arman Building Maintenance is looking for an Electrician to join its facility management team. You will help maintain and improve the electrical infrastructure of Arman Building so that all systems and equipment run smoothly, working within a dynamic team that supports community management services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to spot and fix potential issues.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment such as lighting, power outlets and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other facility management teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency calls and resolve electrical emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in electrical systems.
• Train and guide junior staff on electrical safety practices.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a facility management setting.
• A recognized electrical trade certification or diploma.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for on-site maintenance.
• Proactive approach to safety and commitment to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits and control panels.
• Familiarity with building maintenance software and documentation systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing complex electrical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while managing several tasks at once.
