About the role
The Electrician will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems for GMG residential and commercial properties in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Install, service and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, wiring, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot daily issues and resolve problems to ensure efficient operations.
- Implement corrective actions for identified electrical failures or system faults.
- Respond to emergency repair calls and perform ad‑hoc electrical work as required.
- Maintain service and repair records, including costs incurred.
- Ensure all electrical safety protections are in safe working condition.
Required profile
- Up to 2 years of relevant UAE experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, including AC/DC, single‑phase and three‑phase systems.
Required skills
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and single line diagrams (SLD).
- Proficiency with electrical testing and measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills.
