About the role

Al Khaleej International School is seeking an enthusiastic Elementary Music Teacher to join its faculty in Dubai starting August 2026. The role involves delivering a vibrant music curriculum that aligns with GEMS Core Values and supports the holistic development of young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, assessments and teaching resources.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and adapt instruction to meet individual needs, including ESL and gifted learners.
• Utilise media and technology effectively in the classroom.
• Promote cultural awareness, self‑discipline and a love of learning.
• Participate in co‑curricular activities, school events and parent communication.
• Contribute to staff meetings, committees and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent time‑management and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• ICT proficiency for classroom integration.
