E&M Engineer – Metro Station Inspection (Underground)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced E&M Engineer to act as a PMC field inspector for metro station services, both overground and underground. You will work closely with Site Engineers to ensure that design‑build contractors deliver work that complies with approved drawings, ITPs, codes, and employer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site surveillance and routine inspections of HVAC, fire protection, water supply & drainage, lifts, escalators, MV/LV distribution, lighting, UPS, earthing, lightning protection, and BMS/SCADA cabling.
• Record observations, raise NCRs, verify ITP/WIR compliance, and maintain QA checklists and test records.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, witness pressure tests, duct leakage tests, functional tests, FAT/SAT/IST and compile acceptance evidence.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil works, manage clearances, and log issues in ICD registers.
• Monitor HSSE on site, ensuring compliance with NFPA 130 life‑safety features.
• Prepare daily progress reports, photo logs, inspection reports, and assist with measurements, bill verification, punch‑list tracking and closure.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of E&M site inspection experience on metro or rail projects.
• Proven experience with QA/QC checklists and design‑build workflows.
• Ability to work under the supervision of Station Mechanical/Electrical Site Engineers and escalate critical issues to the Resident Engineer.
