Embryologist – Fertility Lab (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an Embryologist to join our Dubai‑based fertility centre’s Embryology & Andrology laboratory. Working closely with the Senior Embryologist and Consultant, you will support daily laboratory activities that keep each patient’s IVF journey on track while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Support lab‑based fertility investigations, maintain health‑and‑safety standards and keep IVF lab policy documentation up to date.
• Implement SOPs in line with fertilisation law and assist with centre statistics, audits, research and KPI reporting.
• Manage sample labelling, witnessing procedures, liquid‑nitrogen storage and respond to equipment alarms.
• Perform embryo transfers, fertilisation, egg retrieval, ICSI, assisted hatching and sperm preparation under consultant supervision.
• Carry out routine embryology and andrology tasks such as culture media preparation, seminal fluid analysis, semen cryopreservation, sperm retrieval (MESA, PESA, TESE), oocyte and embryo culture, blastocyst grading and freezing/thawing.
• Maintain quality‑control, assurance and improvement standards and keep all records, billing and equipment logs current.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Applied Science, Biology or Medical Science with a Human Embryology emphasis from a recognised university.
• Valid licence from the relevant health authority.
• Minimum five years of experience in an assisted‑reproduction centre.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, emotionally sensitive clinical environment.
