Engineer Change Management

About the role

The Engineer Change Management role is responsible for overseeing change requests (RFCs) across Fixed and Mobile networks, ensuring they are executed within defined KPIs and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Preside over CAB meetings to discuss planned RFCs for Fixed and Mobile networks.
• Perform post‑assurance activities, trigger fault processes when required, and attend to Maximo tool RFCs.
• Conduct pre‑assurance sanity checks to ensure Change Requests meet KPI targets.
• Send business outage or hazard notifications and coordinate with business stakeholders such as SA/TC, National Interconnect, Platinum Desk, and Virgin.
• Assist RFC sponsors with Maximo operations, provide technical and governance consultation, and validate extension reasons.
• Lead weekly change management advisory board meetings and support on‑call rosters, including after‑hours emergency RFCs.
• Administer Maximo tools, generate quarterly network performance and SLA reports, and prioritize change requests to meet customer needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or Telecommunications.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar change management role within the telecommunications industry.
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact with C‑level executives.
• Knowledge of eTOM and ITIL frameworks and willingness to work flexible/shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience using SharePoint and Maximo tools.
• Understanding of eTOM and ITIL processes.
