Engineer II Special Processes

About the role

The Engineer II – Special Processes will support development, qualification, and industrialisation of aerospace special processes for Powertech’s propulsion programmes, covering turbofan, microjet and piston engines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, qualify and continuously improve special processes for rotating, structural and hot‑section engine components.
• Support creation and maintenance of manufacturing routings, process specifications, work instructions and control plans.
• Assist with process validation activities such as first‑article inspection, capability studies and industrial qualification.
• Provide NPI support from prototype build through production ramp‑up, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or propulsion manufacturing.
• Hands‑on expertise in at least two special‑process technologies (e.g., shot peening, thermal spray, heat treatment, brazing, chemical processing).
• Experience supporting NPI, prototype builds or production environments in a fast‑paced, greenfield setting.
