Engineering Associate – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Engineering Associate supports the hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations in Abu Dhabi. This role ensures timely response to maintenance requests, coordinates with other departments, and upholds safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments using telecommunications devices to respond to maintenance requests and manage room status.
• Schedule and oversee major system shutdowns, repairs, or improvements.
• Maintain purchase order logs, file orders after payment and ensure they match packing slips.
• Follow company safety, security, and environmental policies, including handling flammable materials and completing required training.
• Provide guest service by welcoming guests, addressing service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as moving objects up to 10 pounds.
• Answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum two years of related experience in engineering or maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.
