Engineering Maintenance Manager

About the role

Accor is looking for an experienced Engineering Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al‑Khaimah, UAE. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Design, implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends and optimise processes.
• Manage maintenance budgets, control costs and allocate resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and industry requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and service providers for parts and specialised support.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance and minimise disruptions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and industrial equipment systems.
• Proven experience in team leadership, staff management and performance evaluation.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards and risk management.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
