Engineering Manager – Automotive (Dubai)

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead the Automotive Engineering Department in Dubai, defining strategy and ensuring delivery of high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions that align with company objectives and OEM requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the department’s strategic direction, aligning with business goals and OEM plug‑and‑play integration models.
• Set departmental objectives, KPIs and performance metrics, and conduct regular reviews.
• Represent engineering to senior management, OEMs, distributors and international partners.
• Oversee all engineering projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and compliance with quality standards.
• Manage multiple parallel programs in fast‑paced environments, optimizing resources and prioritisation.
• Ensure engineering processes are efficient, standardized and compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and automotive standards (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans).
• Maintain high standards of quality, reliability and regulatory compliance through audits and validation.
• Oversee engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, ECNs, specifications, test reports) for accuracy and traceability.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, suppliers and global partners.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Design, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing and executive leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in an automotive or OEM environment.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects under high pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior stakeholders and international partners.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.
