Engineering Manager – Data & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing team responsible for the data layer and operational foundation of a cutting‑edge digital engineering platform. The role blends hands‑on technical leadership with people management, guiding engineers while defining strategic direction for secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on data systems, DevOps, and infrastructure reliability.
• Define technical strategy and ensure high‑quality execution of initiatives.
• Oversee engineering work on the core graph database, including modifications, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and incident response.
• Manage infrastructure improvements for Kubernetes‑based deployments, Argo CD, Helm charts, and automation tooling.
• Plan and execute deployments into compliance‑restricted environments with secure‑by‑default practices.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering leadership to set priorities and drive roadmap execution.
• Promote best practices in observability, monitoring, and operational excellence across data and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Seven or more years of software engineering experience, with at least two years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing teams working on infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and PostgreSQL or other databases.
• Strong background in distributed systems, stateful data infrastructure, and enterprise software delivery.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (EKS, VPC networking).
