Engineering Manager – Defence Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering workstreams on complex defence programmes. The role will oversee systems, software, hardware, integration, test, cybersecurity and network teams, ensuring delivery against technical, schedule, cost and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering workstreams across complex defence programmes.
• Drive delivery against technical, schedule, cost, quality, and integration objectives.
• Plan resources, milestones, dependencies, risks and engineering priorities.
• Coordinate Systems, Software, Hardware, Integration, Test, Cybersecurity and Network teams.
• Act as the technical focal point for stakeholders, customers, suppliers and programme leadership.
• Support technical decisions, risk mitigation, change control and engineering governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in defence, aerospace, communications or mission‑critical technology.
• Proven experience leading engineering development activities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, systems integration, verification and programme delivery.
• Experience working in regulated or defence environments.
