Engineering Recruitment Manager

About the role

Etihad is seeking an experienced Engineering Recruitment Manager to lead the delivery of talent acquisition across its critical engineering functions. You will head a team of recruiters, shaping strategies that attract and secure top engineering talent for both high‑volume frontline roles and specialist technical positions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing engineering recruitment team.
• Design and execute bold recruitment strategies aligned with Etihad’s growth plans.
• Act as a strategic talent advisor to senior engineering leaders and stakeholders.
• Create innovative attraction campaigns and sourcing strategies to engage global engineering talent.
• Build sustainable pipelines for licensed engineers, maintenance, technical operations and specialist disciplines.
• Ensure robust, objective assessment processes and data‑driven hiring decisions.
• Leverage market intelligence and competitor insights to improve hiring outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional service to candidates and hiring managers while maintaining speed and quality.
• Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools and ways of working.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading aviation engineering or engineering recruitment teams.
• Proven track record recruiting both high‑volume frontline and specialist technical roles.
• Deep understanding of engineering talent markets and assessment methodologies.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with experience coaching recruiters.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using market insights to drive performance.
• Degree‑educated with extensive talent acquisition leadership experience.
