HR & Payroll Assistant

About the role

SLM Interior Decoration LLC is seeking an HR & Payroll Assistant to manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and support daily HR administration in Dubai. The role ensures accurate monthly salary disbursement through the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS) and maintains up‑to‑date employee records.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and ensure timely WPS salary disbursement.
• Maintain attendance, leave, overtime and other payroll‑related records.
• Verify new‑joiner, resignation and termination data for correct payroll adjustments.
• Reconcile payroll data with HR records and resolve discrepancies before submission.
• Maintain confidential employee files, contracts and HR databases.
• Assist with visa, labour card and Emirates ID processing that affect payroll.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, leaves and payslips.
• Prepare payroll reports, WPS files and reconciliations for management review.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of HR and payroll experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HRMS/payroll software.
• Knowledge of WPS and UAE payroll practices.
