About the role

International Community School – Al Manhal Campus is seeking a dedicated English Language Teacher to deliver the British curriculum to high/secondary students. The role involves creating engaging lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking and critical analysis skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic English and literature lessons aligned with the UK curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student achievement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in an English language setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven classroom‑management techniques.
