About the role

GEMS Founders School in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi is seeking an English Teacher to join its secondary department starting August 2026. The role offers the chance to work in a British Schools Overseas accredited international school and to contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for secondary students in line with the curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in English or a BEd with a PGCE in English.
• Proven experience teaching in a secondary school.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and support student learning.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students and parents.
