English Teacher (starting August 2027)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an English Teacher to join its growing network of schools in the United Arab Emirates, commencing in August 2027. The role involves delivering the English National Curriculum across a range of ages and contributing to the school’s inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Identify and support SEN, EAL and gifted & talented students through differentiated instruction.
• Use assessment data and ICT tools to inform planning and track student progress.
• Maintain classroom discipline and uphold the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Record student progress, mark work regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and demonstrate resilience.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using ICT to enhance learning.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English.
