Enterprise Architect – AI & Digital Platforms

About the role

The Enterprise Architect will define and govern the technology architecture for Apparel Group, aligning it with business strategy and digital transformation goals. This senior role will guide modernization, scalability and AI‑driven innovation across retail, e‑commerce, supply chain and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, target‑state architecture and multi‑year technology roadmap.
• Partner with business leaders and technology teams to translate strategic initiatives into scalable capabilities.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, frameworks and governance processes.
• Lead architecture reviews for major initiatives, ensuring security, scalability and alignment with long‑term strategy.
• Drive application portfolio rationalisation, integration architecture (API‑first, event‑driven) and cloud modernization.
• Collaborate with data and analytics teams to set data architecture, governance and AI‑ready foundations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as Generative AI, automation and intelligent retail solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across ERP, POS, e‑commerce, CRM, HR, finance and supply‑chain systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of technology leadership experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale transformation and modernization programmes in retail or multi‑brand organisations.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and modern integration architectures.
