Enterprise Architect & Data Governance Head

About the role

Masdar is seeking a visionary Enterprise Architect to join the Chief Digitalization Officer’s Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CDO, you will be the strategic architect and technical anchor for Masdar’s global digital ecosystem, driving both enterprise architecture and data governance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a composable, best‑of‑breed Enterprise Digital architecture that connects corporate systems with field‑level renewable asset operations.
• Own and steer the global Data Management & Data Governance strategy, defining universal data taxonomies and master data hierarchies.
• Build and lead high‑performing domain architects and data‑management specialists to scale and secure the digital infrastructure.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive experience in global enterprise‑level architecture, preferably in asset‑intensive or energy sectors.
• 10+ years leading and developing teams of specialized domain architects.
• 10+ years hands‑on ERP and Data architecture design, with proven migration of legacy systems to modern composable designs.
• 8+ years architecting and managing global data‑management platforms.
• 5+ years dedicated experience driving Data Governance initiatives, including policy and framework creation.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical designs into business value and influence stakeholders.
