Epic Ambulatory & MyChart Software Engineer

About the role

The role focuses on implementing and supporting Epic Ambulatory and MyChart solutions within clinical environments. You will work closely with clinicians and IT teams to ensure the system meets workflow needs and maintains high availability.

Key responsibilities

• System Build & Configuration: customize Epic modules, design Smart Sets, and build clinical workflows.
• Workflow Analysis: collaborate with clinicians and leadership to identify bottlenecks and close workflow gaps.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance & On‑call support: investigate software issues, apply system updates, and provide tier‑2 or tier‑3 end‑user support.
• Testing: create test scripts and perform unit testing prior to go‑lives and version upgrades.
• Training Support: work alongside clinical educators to ensure documentation standards and proper software usage.

Required profile

• Active EpicCare Ambulatory certification (MyChart specialty preferred).
• Minimum 6‑8 years of Epic implementation or support experience with a strong understanding of clinical environments.
