Equity Research Senior Associate/VP – MENA (Dubai)

About the role

Jefferies is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Vice President to join its MENA Equity Research team in Dubai. The role involves producing high‑quality research on publicly listed companies across the Middle East and North Africa, developing actionable investment recommendations, and engaging directly with institutional investors and corporate management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth fundamental analysis of publicly listed companies across the MENA region.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, earnings forecasts, and valuation frameworks.
• Publish earnings notes, research reports, sector reviews, and thematic investment pieces.
• Generate differentiated stock ideas and investment recommendations.
• Monitor economic, political, regulatory, and sector developments impacting regional markets.
• Participate in management meetings, earnings calls, investor roadshows, and industry conferences.
• Present investment views to institutional investor clients across the region and globally.
• Collaborate with Equity Sales, Trading, Corporate Access, and Investment Banking teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Equity Research, Asset Management, Investment Banking, or a related analytical role.
• Understanding of MENA capital markets and regional economies.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Ability to read and analyse Arabic‑language company disclosures, earnings materials, and regulatory filings.
