Escrow Services Senior Officer

About the role

The Escrow Services Senior Officer works closely with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory authorities and department heads to develop, maintain and deliver high‑quality escrow services in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Visiting customers and regulatory authorities to obtain updates, maintain relationships and submit call reports.
• Overseeing daily escrow processes and transactions in coordination with the Escrow Operations unit and other departments.
• Handling and personalising service for escrow‑related customers and authorities, managing client complaints within agreed time‑frames.
• Maintaining interfaces with authorities and acting as coordinator and escalation point for all parties.
• Coordinating and educating customers on escrow‑related payments and relaying information to the concerned department.
• Tracking all incoming and outgoing escrow transactions, preparing monthly MIS and audit reports, and submitting mandatory reports to regulatory authorities.
• Supporting audits and examinations, completing required training, and identifying process or system issues for improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with ADIB policies, Central Bank circulars and other regulatory requirements, and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Reviewing escrow account opening documentation and coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Sharia and Operations.
• Participating in escrow system enhancements, project support and maintaining confidentiality of agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, marketing or a related field.
• Professional or technical qualifications/diplomas related to escrow or finance.
• Strong cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, capable of developing executive‑level connections.
• Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and sound experience with escrow rules and regulations.
