Estimator – Bridges

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Estimator specialized in new bridge construction projects across the UAE. The role focuses on pre‑contract estimation and tendering for bridges, flyovers, interchanges and elevated structures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for bridge projects.
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for foundations, sub‑structure and super‑structure components.
• Develop rate analysis for bridge‑specific activities such as precast segmental construction, launching girder operations and specialized formwork.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning and procurement teams to gather accurate pricing inputs.
• Evaluate and finalize subcontractor and supplier quotations for specialized bridge works.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions in line with client requirements.
• Conduct value engineering and cost optimisation during the tender stage.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of UAE experience in estimating bridge construction projects.
• Proven experience with main contractors on bridge or highway infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (RTA, DOT, ADM, etc.).
• Ability to handle multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Candy software (mandatory).
• Bridge construction methodologies (cast‑in‑situ, precast, segmental, post‑tensioning).
• Temporary works and specialized construction equipment.
• BOQ preparation, rate build‑ups and tendering procedures.
