Event Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Event Sales Coordinator supports the Events Sales team in delivering memorable experiences for guests at Destination Hotels. This full‑time position focuses on handling event inquiries, assisting sales activities, and ensuring smooth event execution in line with Hyatt’s standards of care and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming event inquiries and provide timely, accurate information to clients.
• Assist the sales team with proposal preparation, contract administration, and follow‑up communications.
• Collaborate with banquet, catering, and operations teams to guarantee seamless event delivery.
• Maintain event calendars, track bookings, and update internal systems.
• Support post‑event reporting and feedback collection to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in events coordination, sales, or hospitality operations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude and passion for hospitality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management systems such as Opera and Envision.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., hotel management systems).
