Events & Activations Manager

About the role

The Events & Activations Manager will lead the planning, execution and optimisation of IC Markets' global marketing events, sponsorship activations and education initiatives. Working closely with the sports sponsorship portfolio (F1‑HAAS, UFC, WTT) and internal marketing teams, you will deliver premium experiences that reinforce brand visibility and drive client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the annual event calendar aligned with the global marketing strategy.
• Plan, organise and execute presence at industry expos, conferences, sponsorship activations, trading seminars and client roadshows, handling venue booking, production, staffing and vendor coordination.
• Leverage sponsorship assets to create on‑ground and digital activation experiences, including meet‑and‑greets, branded zones, merchandise distribution and VIP client programmes.
• Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to design tiered client and IB loyalty gifts, contests, raffles and promotions linked to events.
• Own event budgets, ensure cost control, track ROI and produce post‑event reports with KPIs and improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with strong commercial acumen and operational efficiency.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality experiences with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in event management, sponsorship activation or related fields.
