About the role
The Authors Guild is seeking an Events Manager to lead the planning, development, execution, and continuous improvement of guest events across its Chapters in the UAE. The role ensures every event reflects the brand’s storytelling approach and hospitality standards while delivering memorable experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new event concepts aligned with the brand and design complete guest journeys from booking to post‑event follow‑up.
- Define event requirements including venue setup, décor, entertainment, F&B, equipment, staffing, logistics and contingency plans.
- Prepare budgets, test concepts, and create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each event.
- Train and supervise the Operations Team, conduct quality inspections, and monitor guest feedback.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Marketing, Interior Design, Finance and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolve operational issues, and report on performance, budgets and improvement recommendations.
