Executive Assistant - Regional Operations Director (UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain)

About the role

SABIS, a global education network present in 21 countries, is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Regional Operations Director covering the UAE, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. The role provides professional and comprehensive administrative support so that operations across the schools in the region run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Organize office operations and procedures, integrating interdepartmental workflows
• Handle general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing
• Answer the Regional Operations Director's calls and place outgoing calls
• Coordinate the director's calendar, arranging appointments, meetings and conferences
• Arrange business travel schedules and logistics
• Act as a liaison, passing on directives and following up on assignments and projects
• Greet and receive visitors and coordinate communication between the director and department heads
• Consolidate leave requests and approved vacations, and monitor employee leave and conduct
• Develop presentations and other materials, and coordinate training and departmental events
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and distribute meeting materials
• Manage multiple tasks, including regional projects, and handle stakeholder communications
• Maintain regional documents and records in line with data protection and confidentiality policies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Proficiency in English and Arabic
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field
• Professional behaviour, ethics, accountability and attention to detail
• Strong organization, prioritization and interpersonal skills, able to work with regional and cross-functional teams
