Executive Director, Corporate Banking – Dubai & NE

About the role

The Executive Director, Corporate Banking leads the growth and management of large account portfolios and sensitive client relationships in the corporate banking segment. The role supervises the team's day-to-day activities and client interactions so that objectives and revenue targets are met while keeping client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality high.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze clients and their geographies, industries and markets to identify opportunities and risks
• Originate new business, develop term sheets, information memoranda and mandate letters, and close deals with support from products and governance forums
• Maintain credit quality of client relationships and support credit facility reviews, recommending facilities and flagging candidates for downgrade or upgrade
• Prepare and maintain account plans, organize client meetings, and identify cross-selling opportunities
• Collaborate with the corporate team, other business divisions, international banking and retail banking to build propositions and campaigns
• Manage KYC and compliance, ensure credit reviews are submitted on time and files are kept up to date
• Lead, mentor and coach the team, drive financial performance targets and support hiring

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline
• 12+ years of banking experience, with at least 8+ years in a senior team-management role
• Deep knowledge of wholesale banking or investment banking, and understanding of the bank's products and strategy
• Master's degree in business administration preferred
