Executive Director, Financial & Investment Research

About the role

The Executive Director will lead investment research, financial analysis and recommendation activities for First Abu Dhabi Global Private Bank and its clients. The role covers macro‑economic, market and company‑level analysis across equity and fixed‑income markets, supports portfolio construction, and contributes to investment committee discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct macro‑economic, sector and company research, producing country reports, market commentaries and valuation analyses.
• Develop investment views and recommendations for equity and fixed‑income strategies, identifying emerging risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present research materials for investment committee meetings and other internal forums.
• Maintain research documentation in line with internal governance and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with CMA/SCA accreditation requirements and support regulatory inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or a diploma with eight years of experience.
• Professional designations such as CFA, CIP, CQF or Accredited Financial Analyst are preferred.
• Must hold and maintain the required CMA/SCA accreditation throughout employment.
