Executive Director, GM Sales - Government & Public Sector

About the role

The Executive Director, GM Sales will be responsible for delivering agreed sales and revenue targets across the Government & Public Sector client segment in the UAE. You will originate and distribute Global Markets solutions to corporates, cultivate cross‑sell opportunities and build long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and distribute Global Markets solutions to key corporate clients, meeting revenue and sales targets.
• Develop and deepen client relationships through regular engagement, thought leadership and solution‑driven approaches.
• Ensure compliance with FAB’s regulatory, compliance and best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate closely with GM product, coverage and enablement teams to deliver high‑quality execution.
• Escalate client, internal or monetary issues to line manager within appropriate timeframes.
• Participate in client events, forums and off‑site activities as required.
• Optimize customer flow and cross‑selling opportunities to grow the GM franchise.
• Provide multi‑asset class coverage across FX, money market, credit, interest‑rate derivatives, commodities, equities, Islamic products and more.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking, Financial Management or equivalent (Bachelors/Master’s or professional certifications).
• 10‑15+ years of experience in Financial Markets, preferably corporate sales within Global Markets.
• Established client relationships with UAE‑based mid‑size and large corporates.
• Ability to engage with Credit, Risk, Legal and Compliance departments.
• Potential managerial duties, such as supervising interns or junior team members.
