Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads all housekeeping, laundry and internal communication functions at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, a five‑star beachfront resort in Ras Al Khaimah. This senior position ensures that guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including laundry and the internal communication centre.
• Inspect and prepare guest rooms, ensuring turn‑down service and guest‑specific requests are fulfilled.
• Maintain cleanliness of front‑of‑house areas such as the hotel entrance and designated back‑of‑house zones.
• Monitor night‑shift cleaning activities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage stock levels, approve requisitions and control inventories of linen, uniforms and related items.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and pest‑control services, establishing schedules with the Chief Steward and Director of Engineering.
• Implement HACCP procedures, energy‑saving and waste‑management initiatives.
• Track cost control, propose savings programmes and ensure sustainable development practices.
