Executive Manager Data Quality

About the role

ADCB's Group Risk Management leads the bank's risk objectives, risk framework and risk culture, and manages the bank's portfolio of risks to international standards. As Executive Manager Data Quality, you will lead the definition and implementation of data quality requirements, controls, monitoring frameworks and remediation activities for critical data supporting IT Transformation and technology governance, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, completeness and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Define critical data elements, quality dimensions, rules, thresholds, ownership and monitoring requirements for the assigned programme scope.
• Set up preventive and detective controls, dashboards and issue workflows for completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness and validity.
• Lead analyses of material data-quality issues, agree remediation with accountable owners and validate sustainable closure.
• Provide evidence-based reporting and sign-off input for migration, operational readiness and post-go-live stabilisation.
• Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes.
• Contribute to organisational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects.
• Deliver the Bank's required service levels internally and externally, and manage yourself in line with the Bank's people management policies.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, risk, finance, compliance, data, cybersecurity or technology transformation, including hands-on involvement in complex, multi-workstream change programmes.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Data Management or equivalent.
• ACCA, CIMA, CFA, FRM, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CDPSE or other recognised certifications in data governance, data quality, privacy, project management, testing or related fields.
• Proven experience defining and implementing data quality frameworks, controls, monitoring, governance and remediation across complex transformation programmes.

Required skills

• Strong functional expertise in data governance, data quality and controls, able to turn business requirements into governance frameworks, policies, standards and monitoring processes.
• Stakeholder management and executive communication; ability to challenge constructively across business, technology, risk and control functions.
• Risk-based analysis, structured problem solving, and knowledge of requirements, controls, evidence and issue traceability.
