Executive Producer

About the role

Warner Bros. Discovery’s CNN Global Productions is looking for an Executive Producer based in Abu Dhabi to lead the creation of premium, multi‑platform storytelling across the Middle East. You will shape both sponsored and unsponsored feature content that reflects the region’s diversity and global impact, working closely with regional and global partners to bring compelling stories to CNN audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of CNN Global Productions content for the Middle East, ensuring editorial quality and operational excellence.
• Identify and develop new sponsorship opportunities, as well as fresh programme, show and series concepts.
• Design content strategies for feature campaigns using audience insights and performance data.
• Commission, produce and manage multi‑platform projects from pitch through wrap, including on‑location shoots.
• Collaborate with CNN editorial teams, section editors and on‑air talent to align projects with editorial and audience‑growth goals.
• Coordinate production planning, logistics and risk management while complying with CNN Standards & Practices and regional regulations.
• Monitor production budgets, track spend and ensure delivery on time and within financial targets.
• Serve as senior editorial liaison to network leadership and, when required, cover duties of the Executive Director of Content Creation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in an editorial leadership role within digital‑first, multi‑platform content creation.
• Proven track record producing and commissioning premium feature content across news, business, travel, style or related genres.
• Strong understanding of the Middle‑East media landscape and audience dynamics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
