Export Sales Manager – Fire Protection Systems (Europe, UK, Africa)

About the role

NAFFCO is looking for an experienced Export Sales Manager to expand its fire protection systems portfolio across Europe, the UK and Africa. The role combines strong commercial acumen with deep technical knowledge to win new business, manage distributor networks and drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, deluge and detection solutions to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Identify, qualify and secure new customers, contractors, consulting engineers, distributors and OEM partners.
• Recruit, onboard, train and support distributors, ensuring brand alignment and technical competence.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial terms, coordinating with engineering for compliant solutions.
• Lead tender submissions, negotiate contracts and close deals within company risk guidelines.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering, Operations, Logistics and After‑Sales to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes; feed insights to product management.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and CRM data; provide regular updates to senior management.
• Plan territory visits, attend trade shows, technical workshops and represent NAFFCO at industry events.

Required profile

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in technical capital goods or building services.
• Strong understanding of fire protection standards (NFPA, EN, local Civil Defence requirements).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; additional European or African languages are a plus.
• Ability to work across diverse markets and cultures.
