EYFS/KS1 Arabic Teacher (Full‑Time)

About the role

Safa Community School, an award‑winning all‑through UK curriculum school in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic EYFS/KS1 Arabic Teacher for the upcoming academic year. The role involves delivering high‑quality Arabic instruction to early years and Key Stage 1 pupils, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Arabic lessons in line with the British curriculum and school policies.
• Use data to monitor student progress, implement timely interventions and report on attainment.
• Communicate regularly with parents, including writing reports and attending parents’ evenings.
• Maintain classroom discipline and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Collaborate with colleagues on departmental policy, curriculum development and CPD activities.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (QTS, BEd, PGCE/PGDE or equivalent).
• Experience teaching in British curriculum schools, specifically at EYFS/KS1 level.
• Enthusiastic, able to inspire young learners and demonstrate outstanding practice.
• Willingness to engage in professional development and UAE cultural expectations.

Required skills

• Excellent IT proficiency for lesson planning and assessment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students, parents and staff.
