Facade Safety Officer

About the role

Meraki Group is seeking a proactive Facade Safety Officer to ensure safety compliance for all façade installation activities on its construction sites in Dubai. You will work closely with project teams to enforce standards, conduct risk assessments, and deliver safety training.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies specific to façade installation.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify mitigations.
• Lead incident investigations related to façade work and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety orientations and toolbox talks for façade workers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with site management to develop safe work procedures and emergency response plans.
• Maintain safety documentation, including reports, records, and safety plans.
• Promote a positive safety culture among all façade construction personnel.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a safety officer, preferably in façade or construction works.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and enforce safety protocols effectively.
