Facilities Management Engineer

About the role

The Facilities Management Engineer will lead the planning, execution and optimisation of FM activities across our portfolio in the United Arab Emirates. You will ensure that mechanical and electrical assets are maintained to high standards while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site assessments of MEP systems, evaluate operational condition and identify technical requirements.
• Lead FM mobilisation, define manpower needs, shifts, roles and ensure operational readiness.
• Implement and continuously improve FM processes, SOPs, PPM and reactive maintenance workflows.
• Manage CAFM scheduling for preventive and reactive tasks, tracking manpower, materials and resources.
• Coordinate with contractors for asset handover, testing, defect rectification and system demonstrations.
• Oversee materials and spares planning, procurement, inventory control and cost optimisation.
• Train technical teams on systems, equipment and safety procedures.
• Ensure HSE compliance, approve PTWs, maintain documentation and prepare performance and energy reports.

Required profile

• B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; IOSH or NE‑BOSH certification is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of experience in facilities management.
• Valid driving licence.
