Facilities Senior Manager

About the role

The Facilities Senior Manager leads the Hard Services Division, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of all building-wide facilities, equipment and attractions. This senior role oversees the full lifecycle of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑life safety, and other critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control and manage all aspects of leisure facility maintenance and hard services.
• Manage the division P&L, annual maintenance operation and CAPEX budgets.
• Supervise internal facilities teams and third‑party contractors, approving manpower schedules and work completion certificates.
• Lead project management for new construction and refurbishment programmes.
• Develop, approve and monitor preventive maintenance (PM) programs and SOPs within the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and regulatory standards (HACCP, fire‑life safety, etc.).
• Oversee inventory, spare‑parts levels and asset management.
• Handle service requests, permits to work, and technical reviews of documentation.
• Recruit, train, evaluate and discipline staff as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Qualified/certified HVAC, Gas, Oil, Civil or Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum 10 years of on‑site experience installing, commissioning or supervising HVAC, electrical, civil or gas systems.
• At least 5 years of experience managing engineering teams or contractors.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of BMS, pumping, water‑treatment, aquatics/fountains, basic electrical, HVAC (FAHU, AHU, FCU), heat exchangers, boiler, fire‑suppression and fire‑fighting systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English communication skills.
