Factory Production Coordinator - Cutlist

About the role

M Qube Interiors Carpentry LLC, a Dubai-based interior fit-out and carpentry/joinery company, is looking for a Factory Production Coordinator - Cutlist. The role coordinates accurate cutting information so that workshop production stays aligned with project requirements, material availability and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate cutting lists for custom furniture, joinery and interior fit-out components from approved drawings and specifications.
• Verify dimensions, quantities, materials, finishes and edge details, clarifying discrepancies with draftsmen, project teams and workshop supervisors.
• Translate project priorities and approved cutlists into practical workshop work orders and communicate changes promptly.
• Coordinate with procurement and store teams on material availability, board optimisation and potential shortages or wastage.
• Track cutting and production progress, keep accurate records and report delays, quality issues and rework needs.
• Work with machine operators and carpenters so components are labelled, organised and ready for assembly and installation.
• Support quality checks and follow workshop safety, housekeeping and documentation procedures.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating cutlists or production in a carpentry, joinery, furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out workshop.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, technical plans, dimensions and material specifications.
• Strong knowledge of sheet materials, timber, laminates, hardware, finishes and joinery processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
• Clear communication with draftsmen, procurement staff, supervisors, operators and carpenters.

Required skills

• Preparing and checking cutlists, quantities, labels and work orders; material optimisation is an advantage.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and production tracking.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drawing software is beneficial.
