Faculty Member – Electrical & Electronics Engineering

About the role

The Faculty Member in Electrical & Electronics Engineering will deliver high‑quality instruction to second‑language learners, contribute to curriculum development, and support the academic community at the college.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in electrical and electronics engineering, using practical, applied approaches aligned with syllabus and program goals.
• Develop and integrate educational technology resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Assess student performance through tests, projects, assignments and provide timely feedback.
• Advise and mentor students, including at‑risk learners, and support internships and work placements.
• Conduct applied research aligned with the division’s interests and national innovation priorities, and present findings at conferences.
• Participate in academic and extracurricular events, serve on committees, and act as a sponsor or adviser to student groups.
• Contribute to the development and preservation of institutional policies and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Academic background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience teaching engineering subjects to second‑language learners in a higher‑education setting.
• Ability to engage in applied research and collaborate with industry and community partners.
• Strong commitment to student‑centered learning and mentorship.
