Faculty Member in Occupational Therapy Program

About the role

The college is seeking a qualified Faculty Member to join its Occupational Therapy Program in Dubai. The role involves delivering academic and clinical education, mentoring students, and supporting research and program quality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, labs and clinical training, and supervise students during placements.
• Facilitate case‑based learning, simulations and hands‑on skill sessions using digital tools.
• Prepare and grade assessments, maintain academic and clinical records, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship and feedback to develop students’ clinical reasoning and communication.
• Participate in research, conferences, curriculum development and quality‑assurance activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Valid professional license/registration where applicable.
• Significant clinical experience in occupational therapy practice.
• Teaching experience in higher education is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems, specifically Blackboard.
• Familiarity with simulation‑based teaching and digital learning platforms.
