Faculty Position in Business – Real Estate Management

About the role

The Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking a full‑time faculty member for its Business Faculty, specializing in Real Estate Management. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction to second‑language learners, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in research aligned with national innovation priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver applied courses in real estate management, utilizing educational technology and ensuring alignment with program goals.
• Assess student performance through tests, projects, and assignments, providing continuous feedback and maintaining accurate grade records.
• Advise and mentor students, including support during internships and at‑risk action planning.
• Conduct applied research, present findings at conferences, and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Participate in faculty, campus, and system‑wide committees, and sponsor student groups and activities.
• Maintain teaching facilities, manage course content, and support continuous improvement of curricula and assessment processes.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree with professional certification and at least five years of combined teaching and industry experience; a Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience may also be considered.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in the relevant field and three years of industry experience, preferably with curriculum development and use of educational technology.
