F&B Service Expert – Barista – Lobby Lounge

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic F&B Service Expert to join the Lobby Lounge team at Marriott Al Forsan. As a Barista you will create memorable coffee and beverage experiences for our guests while upholding Marriott’s standards of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages to guests in the Lobby Lounge.
• Set up and maintain service stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and deliver timely service.
• Interact with guests, taking orders, answering queries and providing a friendly experience.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle cash transactions and operate point‑of‑sale equipment accurately.
• Perform routine cleaning of work areas, equipment and supplies at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and barista techniques.
• Ability to read menus and verify orders visually.
• Proficiency in operating point‑of‑sale systems.
