F&B Service Expert

About the role

Aloft Hotels is hiring a full-time F&B Service Expert (Guest Service Expert) at its property on East Crescent, The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The role is non-management and focuses on delivering a memorable guest dining experience through a wide range of services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of services so guests enjoy their meal, from setting tables to communicating with the kitchen and serving guests.
• Clean work areas and supplies.
• Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information.
• Take a hands-on approach to work, standing, sitting or walking for long periods and moving over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance, and reach overhead and below the knees.
• Follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards and maintain a safe workplace.
• Keep uniform, personal appearance and communications professional.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
