F&B Transportation Supervisor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The F&B Transportation Supervisor ensures that food‑and‑beverage service areas run smoothly, staff work as a cohesive team, and guest needs are consistently met. This role combines operational oversight, staff management, and safety compliance within the Aloft Abu Dhabi hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the facility.
• Maintain storage areas using FIFO principles, ensure cleanliness, and conduct regular inventories.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and oversee equipment inspections.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Enforce company safety and security policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and work in confined or elevated spaces.
