Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist – Al Ain

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Al Ain. The role involves delivering comprehensive women’s health services, from routine care to complex surgical procedures, while maintaining a patient‑centred approach.

Key responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecological consultations for both outpatient and inpatient cases.
• Manage normal and high‑risk pregnancies, including antenatal care, labor, delivery, and postnatal follow‑up.
• Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders such as PCOS, infertility, fibroids, endometriosis, and menopausal conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections, minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, and laparoscopic operations.
• Conduct women’s health screenings, preventive care, and patient education.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthetists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Board Certification/Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid DOH Consultant License or eligibility letter.
• 5–7 years of post‑board consultant experience in a reputable hospital.
• Strong surgical, communication, and patient‑counseling abilities.
