About the role

Taileem is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi campus. The role involves delivering the Taileem curriculum with a focus on inspiring students, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing a lifelong love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive geography lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Inculcate values of truth, justice, equality, human rights, and compassion through teaching.
• Motivate students to exceed their own expectations and achieve high academic standards.
• Utilise ICT and emerging educational technologies to enhance learning experiences.
• Plan and adapt lessons based on individual student needs and preferences.
• Promote independent, confident lifelong learning among all students.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate on fair disciplinary practices and safeguard students from abuse and bullying.
• Communicate regularly and confidentially with parents regarding student progress.
• Model academic honesty and participate actively in departmental meetings and after‑school activities.
