Female Lifeguard – Immediate Start at Yasmina British Academy

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a female Lifeguard for Yasmina British Academy with an immediate start. The role involves supervising the school swimming pool, supporting the PE team, and ensuring the safety of pupils, staff and visitors during lessons and extracurricular activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full supervision of the swimming pool and its users at all times.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑lesson pool checks, record findings and liaise with maintenance for corrective actions.
• Support the swimming coach and PE team in planning, delivering lessons and organising galas or sports events.
• Assist teachers and classroom assistants with child supervision before, during and after lessons.
• Carry out safety equipment checks, set‑up and dismantle pool equipment safely.
• Attend mandatory monthly training to keep fitness, knowledge and lifesaving skills up to date.

Required profile

• UAE‑approved (ADQCC) Swimming Coach or Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to teach swimming and act as a qualified lifeguard.
• Physically fit, able to work outdoors and handle pool‑related duties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
